Celebrating Beauty: Our Anniversary Event Recap!
What a memorable celebration! On November 8th, we transformed the Beauty Bar store in Central Square Mall, BGC into a vibrant hub of beauty and discovery, celebrating our 25th anniversary with guests who share our love for all things glam. From swatches and scents to skincare and glowy looks, every corner of the event was packed with something special. And, of course, we had plenty of delicious treats and lively beats to keep the energy up! Here’s a look back at all the fun and unforgettable moments!
The Swatch Bar: Test & Play with Your Favorite Makeup Brands
Makeup lovers were in heaven at our Swatch Bar! Guests had the chance to try shades and textures from beloved brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Smashbox, theBalm, and E+E. Some lucky guests even scored amazing prizes from Anastasia Beverly Hills and Burt's Bees by playing Beauty Pong, our glammed-up twist on classic beer pong.
The Fragrance Bar: Discover Scents & Stories
At our Fragrance Bar, guests explored enchanting scents from brands like Urban Apothecary, Skybottle, Korres, and E+E. Through games like Match the Scent, they dove into the unique notes and stories behind each fragrance. It was a journey of scent discovery, helping guests find the perfect match for their personality and style.
The Skin Bar: Personalized Skincare Fun
Our Skin Bar offered guests a peek into our extensive lineup of skincare and hair care products. They took a skin quiz that recommended products tailored to their specific needs, making it easier than ever to find skincare solutions. Plus, there was a fun dice game, where rolling the dice could mean winning exciting prizes!
The Glow Bar: Dive into Asian Beauty
We couldn’t forget about the trendsetting Asian beauty brands! At the Glow Bar, guests learned more about Unicorn Glow and Hince, including their unique shades and playful products. These brands brought all the color and creativity, and our guests loved getting hands-on with their products.
Photo Cube: Picture-Perfect Moments
Capturing memories was a must! Guests had the chance to step into our adorable photo cube booth and take unlimited photos. It was the perfect way to remember all the fun moments and share them with friends!
Nail Glam at Dashing Diva
The pampering didn’t stop at makeup and skincare—our guests also enjoyed getting their nails done at Dashing Diva! Everyone walked away with picture-perfect nails to match their glowing looks. It was the perfect touch to a beauty-filled celebration!
Delicious Bites & Fun Drinks
No celebration is complete without tasty treats, and we brought plenty! Our guests enjoyed pink sliders, classic chips and dips, chocolate-covered strawberries, and, of course, the best macarons ever. Plus, we served up fun, festive beverages that were a hit throughout the night.
Workshops with the Pros: Learn from the Best
Our guest experts held exclusive workshops, adding even more excitement and insider tips:
- Jigs Mayuga (@jigsmayuga) wowed us with a tutorial on creating an effortless day-to-night look. He showed off the magic of E+E’s Hyaluronic Setting Powder with Fullerene - Lavender, a must-have for refreshing and brightening the skin.
- Bernadette Lim (@thefragrancespecialist) inspired us with her workshop on fragrance layering. She even revealed how to mix room sprays with perfumes to create unique, signature scents! A favorite combo? Hince The Scarf with Urban Apothecary Velvet Peony Room Spray, which creates the perfect romantic scent for a cozy night.
- Pat Cortez (@iampatcortez), a Gen-Z beauty icon, demonstrated a radiant, glittery look using Unicorn Glow's Can't Wait Cooling Stick in Messier and Planet. It was a hit among guests, adding a burst of fun and sparkle to their look!
Keeping the Vibe Alive
Our DJ, Marga (@margaonthemic), kept the party vibes going all night! With Marga’s fun energy and an upbeat playlist, she had everyone moving between beauty stations.
