KEY INGREDIENTS:
10% glycolic acid concentration helps to keep skin healthy and clear of blackheads and fine lines
5% witch hazel helps to minimize excess oilHOW TO USE WITH OTHER PRODUCTS:
AHAs can be combined with most other products. However, there are a few to be careful with to ensure you don't sensitise the skin.WHEN COMBINING WITH A VITAMIN C SERUM
Both are amazing ingredients that can help with healthy looking skin. However, it's best to use Vitamin C in the AM and Glycolic Acid in the PM.ALWAYS WEAR SUNSCREEN WHEN USING AHA'S
Due to the exfoliating properties of AHA, and the fact it increases skin renewal, means the top layer of skin is newer and potentially more sensitive to sunlight. So we always recommend using in the PM and wearing a broad spectrum sunscreen during the day.USING WITH A RETINOL
If you are also using Retinol in your evening routine, and want to add an AHA, we suggest using these on alternate evenings. Start off slowly to ensure you do not sensitize the skin.USING WITH OTHER AHAS
We would recommend only using one AHA at a time (this includes Glycolic, Alpha Hydroxy and Lactic acids). While they can have slightly different benefits, overuse can lead to over exfoliation and increased sensitivity.AHAS VS BHAS - WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) are chemical exfoliators. Water-soluble, they work on the surface of your skin, encouraging cell turnover to reveal a brighter, more even complexion. Use in the PM and protect your skin with SPF during the day. Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) are also chemical exfoliators. They are oil soluble, which means they work deeper in your pores, helping to target blackheads and reduce the bacteria that can lead to breakouts. Use AM or PM and protect your skin with SPF during the day.LOOKING FOR HYDRATION?
