Brand Story

Mark Curry and Colette Newberry
Founded by Colette Laxton and Mark Curry in 2018, The INKEY List was born from a belief that better knowledge powers better decisions. We know that the world of beauty, and particularly skincare, can be confusing. But we also know that people are curious and want to understand more about their skin so they can make the right decisions. Not just now, but for its ever changing needs.

WAYS WE ARE COMMITTED TO TRANSPARENCY:

Inclusion of active percentages on our products
Our packaging is currently 91% recyclable and we are comitted to being 100% recyclable by the end of 2020. In addition we are also working to move our packaging to PCR (post-consumer resin) plastic, which is made using recycled PET, where possible and will update our customers with our progress.
All of our products are Cruelty Free and in line with EU regulation
We highlight on our product pages where products do and don't contain animal derivatives (for example beeswax) however, we are not currently vegan certified.
