Fragrance producer and concurrently CEO of Scentnations Inc. After graduating from Gakushuin University in Tokyo, Japan, he proceeded to finish his Master’s Degree at Lancaster Graduate University.

After returning to Japan, worked for one of the fragrance company in Japan and created the fragrance that is awarded a Japan Fragrance prize. In 2012, started scentnations inc. produced a lot of products which are collaborated with celebrities and brands. Moreover, created and developing the original fragrance “Layered Fragrance”.

Since Japan's fragrance industry has always relied on imported goods, the manufacturing of fragrance hasn’t really existed in Japan until Saint Nation came along.

Scentnations is the first company in Japan to manufacture its own fragrance as opposed to relying on the traditional method of importing. One of the decisions I made when building a company was to create the first Maison Fragrance brand in Japan called LAYERED FRAGRANCE, founded by Sho Ishizaka.

What is Maison?

Maison is an attitude that puts philosophy first.

Our method of manufacturing is about expressing one's identity, history, and roots. This actual expression and production are prioritized over how the product is marketed. We place a high value on having a team that creates, with this kind of worldview and spirituality.

LAYERED FRAGRANCE has developed so successfully because of this kind of team. We have no direct competitor in the fragrance world who operates their business with a similar mindset.

LAYERED FRAGRANCE does not claim a specific target market but more of an abstract concept of customers who share our values and beliefs.
