Naturally dervied from fruit acids, this gentle exfoliator is designed to improve the appearance of skin texture, brightness and skin tone.
With 10% fruit acids, and 1% Hyaluronic acid, this AHA gently removes dead skin cells from the surface to help your skin appear brighter and improve the appearance of skin texture and pigmentation. New to exfoliating acids? This serum is a great starting point, providing exfoliation without irritation.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
10% fruit acid helps to provide gentle exfoliation
1% low molecular hyaluronic acid for deeper hydrationHOW TO USE WITH OTHER PRODUCTS:
AHAs can be combined with most other products. However, there are a few to be careful with to ensure you don't sensitize the skin.WHEN COMBINING WITH A VITAMIN C SERUM
Both are amazing ingredients that can help with healthy-looking skin. However, it would be best to use Vitamin C in the AM and Alpha Hydroxy Acid in the PM.ALWAYS WEAR SUNSCREEN WHEN USING AHAS
Due to the exfoliating properties of AHA, and the fact it increases skin renewal. This means the top layer of skin is newer, and potentially more sensitive to sunlight. So we always recommend using in the PM and wearing a broad spectrum sunscreen during the day.USING WITH A RETINOL
If you are also using Retinol in your evening routine, and want to add an AHA, it's best to use these on alternate evenings and start off slowly to ensure you do not sensitize the skin.USING WITH OTHER AHAS
We recommend only using one AHA at a time (this includes Glycolic, Alpha Hydroxy and Lactic acids). While they can have slightly different benefits, overuse can lead to over exfoliation and increased sensitivity.AHAS VS BHAS - WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) are chemical exfoliators. Water-soluble, they work on the surface of your skin, encouraging cell turnover to reveal a brighter, more even complexion. Use in the PM and protect your skin with SPF during the day. Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) are also chemical exfoliators. They are oil soluble, which means they work deeper in the pores, helping to target blackheads and reduce the bacteria that can lead to breakouts. Use AM or PM and protect your skin with SPF during the day.LOOKING FOR HYDRATED SKIN?
